主要从事水稻功能基因组学研究。目前以第一作者身份在The Plant Journal、Journal of Integrative Plant Biology和Frontiers in Plant Science上分别发表论文1篇,并列第一作者身份在The Plant Cell上发表论文1篇,以其它作者身份在Nature Plants、The Plant Cell、Molecular Plant、PNAS、New Phytologist等杂志上发表论文7篇。现主持国家自然科学基金青年科学基金项目1项和湖南省自然科学基金青年基金项目1项,现参与农业部现代产业园项目1项、湖南省教育厅重点项目1项和长沙市科技计划项目1项,曾参与国家自然科学基金重大研究计划项目2项和面上项目1项。授权国家发明专利1项,获大北农科技奖1项。
