2011南方粮油作物协同创新中心“油菜分子生物学创新团队”骨干。2019年,湖南省“芙蓉学者奖励计划”青年学者。
主要利用油菜核心种质资源,通过关联分析基因组、转录组、代谢组和表型组等生物信息学手段,在全基因组水平上解析油菜早熟高产以及油脂合成的遗传基础。通过基因超表达和CRISPR/Cas9等分子生物学手段揭示其遗传的分子机制。实现油菜优异种质资源→优异基因→优异基因功能解析→分子标记开发利用,为培育早熟高产优质的油菜品种打下基础。围绕这一目标,已在Molecular Plant、Plant Biotechnology Journal、 Plant, Cell & Environment、Journal of Experiment Botany等杂志上发表了SCI论文20余篇。其中,在Molecular plant期刊上发表的文章,被该杂志评选为优秀研究性论文(http://www.cell.com/molecular-plant/ libraries/editors-choice)。已在国际油菜会议上做口头报告2次。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划课题等项目6项。
