湖南农业大学讲师、硕士生导师。主要从事水稻高产高效栽培理论与技术等方面的研究。 目前主持国家自然科学基金项目1项; 以第1作者发表科研论文15篇,其中SCI论文8篇,一级学报2篇; 以第1发明人授权国家发明专利1项。
